20 minute dog walk

I will arrive at a set time to greet your dog and once the dog is leashed and the door is locked the walk begins! Actual walking time will be 20 minutes and I provide my own clean up bags and will take photos or video to send to you on our walk. I take into mind the dogs triggers if any and I always aim for the most exercise and distance walked in the amount of time (of course this depends on your dog’s temperament and behavior i.e. dogs who tend to pull or chase/lunge at other humans or animals tend to go less distances due to pausing to ensure safety for your pet.)
For reference my dog has a tight heal (meaning he is trained to walk very closely and in-step with me. We are able to breeze through 1-1.5 miles in a 30 min time frame with using the restroom.

Other Details About Me: Summer is a Dog Mom and Full time student who knows in depth the struggle of making it home in time to let the pup out! She has had several dogs (rescue and stray) as pets throughout her life such as a Border collie, Chocolate Lab, and Beagle. She has also house sat/cared for a variety of breeds such as Yorkie, Pomeranian, Black Mouth Cur, Lab/Pitbull mix, and misc. rescue breeds exposing her to several temperaments and behaviors. She currently has a 2 year old German Shepard named Rufus who was aggressive from birth and is still a vital member of her family. Summer has spent many hours, weeks, and months of research, you tube videos, podcasts, pets mart puppy training, and even successful self-taught clicker training to help crack the code that is Rufus and his triggers. She finally sent him to a board and train program where both Mom and Rufus could learn to be on the same page, communicate better, and improve their quality of life. Now we go on daily walks, hikes, and frequent patios such as Whole Foods, Torchy’s, and Goose’s Acre in The Woodlands area. I share this because I have seen many dog personalities and I have a strong compassion and admiration for all dogs and the lessons they teach us. I am not intimidated by a challenge or a “too smart for it’s own good” dog and I am very aware and observant to dogs behaviors both negative and positive. I myself experience a lot of crazy things “off-leash” while walking my own dog and want you to feel secure and at peace with entrusting your precious cargo into my supervision.
